4 Priest Monument, Cleveland Cultural Gardens. Memorial to commemorate the commitment and sacrifice of 4 priest on board a sinking ship to save the lives of others. Left Picture of Derick Dawkins in front of the monument circa 1971. Note the bronze placard is removed. Many of the monuments were damaged or stolen. Park attendants removed remaining vulnerable artifacts for safekeeping. It wouldn’t be until 30 or more years past that this monument and others were restored.
